🆕 Micronutrient Tracking is Here! 🎉
Coaches, you can now level up your nutrition plans with detailed micronutrient insights!
Now, you can dive into the details and track essential micronutrients like fiber, sugar, polyols, saturated fat, polyunsaturated, monounsaturated, and salt!👌🏻
Here’s a quick guide to enable and start using them.
How to enable Micronutrients?
Go to Settings
• Head to your General settings page and enable the “Micronutrients” toggle.
• Don’t forget to save your settings.
Once enabled, micronutrients will be visible to both you and your clients.
Note: Please note that micronutrients are displayed in grams, and this unit cannot be changed.
How to add Micronutrients to Meal Plans?
1. Create a Full Meal Plan
• Micronutrients are available only within full meal plans. Create one to start adding foods.
2. Customize Nutrients Display
• Use the settings icon within your meal plan to select or deselect which macronutrients and micronutrients you want visible.
3. Adding Foods
• As you add foods (e.g., white bread, chicken roast), the platform will display their calories and micronutrients.
• For foods without micronutrient data, you’ll see a hyphen instead of zero for unavailable nutrients.
4. Create Custom Foods
• If you want to add custom foods with specific macro and micronutrient data, you can use the food creation feature. Your clients will see all nutrient details you enter.
Where / how do I see the Micronutrients?
1. Hover Over the ‘i’ Icon
• Within your meal plan, hover over the ‘i’ icon next to each food to view detailed calories and micronutrients.
2. Review Missing Nutrients
• For foods missing specific micronutrient information (like fiber or sugar), a hyphen appears instead of a number. For very small amounts, the platform displays “0.”
3. Editing Foods
• To view or edit the micronutrient details for a certain food, go to “Actions” > “Edit” on your meal plan.
Client Experience
• Nutrition Plan Overview
• If you’ve enabled micronutrients, your clients can view the full nutritional breakdown, including micronutrients, for each meal plan.
• When they search for individual foods (e.g., broccoli), they’ll see the available micronutrient information for that food as well.
