Enhance your conversations and stay connected with a variety of chat features!
🟢 Active Status
The active status lets you see who's currently online. You'll find an "Online" or "Offline" indicator next to the user's name, along with a green dot for online users on their profile picture.
✅ View Delivered and Seen Indicators
Know exactly when your message gets delivered and seen! Two grey check marks indicate that a message has been delivered. Once the recipient sees the message, the checkmarks will turn green.
💬 Typing Indicators
When someone is actively typing the "Typing..." indicator will appear next to the user's name.
😍Message Reactions
Similar to platforms like iMessage, WhatsApp and Instagram you can now react to messages with emojis.
Here's how it works:
Hover over a message.
Click the emoji icon to view the available options.
Select the reaction you want to add.
The reaction will appear below the message timestamp.
You can add multiple reactions or remove them by clicking on them again.
Your own reactions will be highlighted in blue, while reactions from others will be displayed in gray.
🧵Threaded Replies
For clearer and more organized chats, we've introduced threaded messages. Similar to how you react to messages, simply hover over a message and click the reply icon. This will open a dedicated tab on the right side for your threaded discussion, keeping your conversation focused on the specific topic.
✏️🗑️Edit and Delete Messages
You can edit and delete messages you've sent. Here's how:
Hover over the message you want to edit or delete.
Click the three dots (...) for more options.
A dropdown menu will appear. Choose "Edit" to modify your message or "Delete" to remove it completely.
🔎Search
Finding specific information within your chats is now easier than ever.
Search Inside Chat: Type your keywords in the search box and hit Enter. The search results will display relevant messages within the chat. Click on any result to jump directly to that specific message.
Search Chat Listing: Similar to searching within a chat, you can also search for specific chats in your chat list. Use the name or email address associated with the contact to find the chat you're looking for.
🎙️ Voice Recording
Add a personal touch to your conversations with voice recordings!
Click the microphone icon to begin recording. No need to hold the button down.
To pause recording, simply click the pause button. Once you're finished, click the stop recording button. Note: While recording a voice message, you cannot send attachments, text messages, or video recordings at the same time.
After uploading, click send to deliver your recording. You can also delete the recording before sending it. Note: The maximum recording duration is 15 minutes.
You can also use voice recording within threaded messages.
Once you send the recording, the user will be have the option to download it.
📹 Video Recording
Similar to voice recording, you can also record videos. Click the camera icon to start recording. You can pause, stop, or delete the recording as needed. Once you're happy with the video, click the stop button. After uploading, you can send the video. The recipient can then download it.
The maximum video size is 500 MB on the web platform.
📎Attach Files
You can attach images, videos, and audio messages to add context and depth to your conversations.
😁Send GIFs
You can easily send GIFs in both main messages and threaded messages using the GIF button. GIFs can be deleted by hovering over them and clicking the three dots (...). You can also start a thread by hovering and clicking the reply button.
